About
Family owned, in Gilbert, since 2015
We are a small managed IT provider in Gilbert, Arizona. Every engineer is our own employee. Nothing has ever been outsourced or offshored, and everything we build belongs to you.
What we are
A deliberately small provider that stayed small
Orca IT Solutions supports small and mid size businesses across the East Valley, typically five to two hundred people, in medical, dental, legal, manufacturing, construction, accounting, veterinary, professional services and real estate.
We run a limited number of clients at once on purpose. Growth past the point where the owner can no longer name every client is how managed IT providers start to feel like call centres, and we have watched it happen to plenty of them.
Orca IT Solutions sits alongside sister divisions in creative, marketing and web3. The IT division stands entirely on its own, has its own engineers, and quotes separately. If you only want IT, you only get IT.

How we are different
Three things most providers will not do
Publish the rate
Our hourly rate is $250 and it is on the pricing page. A provider who will not give you a number until the third meeting is managing the number rather than the work.
Give the assessment away
Written findings, red amber green, yours to keep whether you hire us or not. If your current provider has it handled, our report will say so.
Say no
If your budget is better spent elsewhere, or you do not need what you called about, we will tell you. We have talked people out of six figure projects.
The pod model
Why your account gets a pod, not a queue
Orcas travel in small permanent family groups. They do not hunt alone and they do not swap members between jobs.
The same faces. A named lead engineer and a named backup assigned to your business. You learn their names, they learn your network.
Shared memory. Documentation lives with the pod, not in one person's head. Nobody rediscovers your printer VLAN twice.
One escalation path. Tier one to tier two to the network or security lead, inside the same building in Gilbert. No handoff to a third party, because there is no third party.
Where we work
The East Valley, and only the East Valley
Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Queen Creek, Tempe, Scottsdale, Phoenix, San Tan Valley and Apache Junction.
We used to publish pages for a hundred cities across the country. It was honest about remote support and dishonest about everything else, because managed IT eventually requires somebody to stand in front of a rack. So we cut it.
If your business is outside our area, we will tell you rather than take the contract.
Straight answers
Questions about the company
How many people are on the team?
Small enough that you will know your engineers by name and large enough that your pod has a lead and a backup, plus escalation to network and security specialists. We deliberately run a limited number of clients at once, because taking on more than we can do properly is how providers start disappointing people.
Do you have sister companies?
Yes. Orca Creative handles brand and web, Orca Marketing handles growth, and Orca Web3 handles blockchain work. They are separate divisions with separate contracts. If you only want IT, you only get IT, and nobody will try to sell you a rebrand.
What if we outgrow you?
We will tell you. There is a point where an in house IT hire makes more sense than an agreement, and we would rather help you make that transition and keep the relationship than pretend it is not happening.
