Windows Server support ยท Gilbert, AZ
The server everything depends on, and nobody has looked at
In most small businesses there is one machine that quietly runs everything: the files, the line of business application, the licensing, the logins. It is usually out of warranty and nobody knows what would happen if it stopped.
What we walk into
The Windows Server problems we see most
- A server out of warranty for years, running the application the whole business needs
- RAID degraded for months because the alert went to somebody who left in 2022
- Active Directory full of accounts for people who no longer work there
- Group policy nobody can explain, applied to objects nobody can find
- Patching deferred indefinitely because a reboot is inconvenient
- Backups that run nightly and have never once been restored
If you recognised more than two of those, the free assessment will tell you which ones are actually urgent and what each costs to fix.

What we handle
- Windows Server and Hyper-V. Builds, virtualisation consolidation where it saves real money, and lifecycle replacement planned as a budget line rather than an emergency.
- Active Directory and Entra ID. Structure, group policy, cleanup of stale accounts, and hybrid identity where it makes sense.
- Monitoring that matters. Disk, memory, temperature, RAID health, backup job status and event log alerting, watched by our engineers rather than emailed to a mailbox nobody opens.
- Patching on a schedule, in a maintenance window that suits your business, with reporting so you can prove it happened.
- File services done properly. Share and NTFS permissions that reflect how the business actually works, plus shadow copies so a deleted file is a two minute fix.
- Capacity and lifecycle planning, so you replace hardware on your schedule instead of on its schedule.
Straight answers
Windows Server questions we get
Should we replace the server or move to the cloud?
It depends on the workload, your internet, your licensing and how long you plan to stay in the building. We model both and give you real numbers. Sometimes the honest answer is to keep the server and spend the money on backup and security instead.
How long does a server actually last?
Plan on five years of warranty coverage and expect to replace at that point. Machines run longer, of course, but past warranty you are gambling that nothing fails, and the parts get harder to source every year.
Can you take over a server somebody else built?
Yes. We document it, tell you what state it is truly in, and give you a prioritised list before touching anything.
What happens if it fails on a Monday morning?
That is what tested restores and a written recovery plan are for. With image level backups and a documented procedure, recovery time is a known number. Without them, the honest answer is that nobody knows, which is the situation most businesses are in when they call us.

Not sure whether Windows Server is your actual problem
That is what the free assessment is for. We look at the whole environment, not just the thing you called about, and tell you plainly where the real bottleneck is.
